Ever since I can remember, I’ve had an obsession with fashion, style, design and fancy things in general. This passion has led to writing about things that inspire me and working with leading companies in the fashion industry on various projects including event promotion, media relations, product development and design consulting. I also make regular TV appearances discussing red carpet looks during award season and style recommendations.
How did it all start?
When I was young – if I was good and asked nicely – my mother would let me organize her dressing room and in particular her jewellery drawers. I would take everything out and then reorganize it according to various categories like fun Saturday jewels, daytime work jewels, glam/cool party jewels and of course big formal event jewels. Elizabeth Taylor’s book, My Love Affair with Jewellery is also one of my all-time favourites.
As a teenager, every month my wonderful dad bought me a copy of Vogue and Architectural Digest. The best was the day when I’d get the latest issues of each and I’d spend a few hours carefully going through them. Nothing made me happier when one of my favourite supermodels (Cindy, Claudia, Christy, Linda and Naomi – also known as the “Fab 5“) showed up on the cover of Vogue. And you can also imagine my excitement when Cindy Crawford and her beautiful Park Avenue pad landed on the cover of Architectural Digest in 2001. That pretty much sums up my teenage years.
Today, I’m thrilled to be able to now have the opportunity to focus on my love of style and follow my passion. Can I help you?
